A lifetime cycling enthusiast who enjoyed BMX and mountain bike racing along the way, I'm now taking my twenty plus years of bicycle industry experience on the road, with my new “Doctor Bike” remote service business.  Understanding how hectic life has become for most of us, I’ll save you the time and trouble of hauling your bike to and from shops by repairing them in your own garage.  If I run into a part that I don’t happen to have with me, I’ll take the bike back with me, and return it when it’s ready to go.  Have an older bike that needs some TLC?  I’m the guy for the job.  Ordered a new e-bike and want it assembled?  Give me a call!!  There isn’t much I haven’t encountered in my over 20 years of working on bikes, so I can handle whatever might be ailing yours.

As a third-generation bike shop owner, the bicycle business runs in my blood.  My grandparents, Rich and Jeanne Kirsch, and father, Craig, owned and operated Two Wheeler Dealer in Rapid City and Spearfish from 1986 through 2007, when the company was consistently ranked among America’s top cycling retailers.  It was there that I got my start at the age of five, bar-coding tubes and derailleur cables. I grew up listening to my dad talk about customer service at the dinner table, and as the years went by, I honed my mechanical and business skills, eventually managing cycling stores in the Florida panhandle while attending college. I returned to South Dakota to finish school at Black Hills State University, and managed the Two Wheeler Dealer stores my father had since sold, eventually becoming a partner and manager in the Sioux Falls location.  I operated that store until its sale in 2019, continuing to manage the store for the new owner’s, Erik’s Bike Shop, until 2022.
